AXON Maximum Shear Boosters provide 35% more shearing force than
large bore bonnets with standard boosters, reducing the pressure
required for shearing operations. The two-piece operating piston with
high strength alloy shaft allows for greater load transfer from booster
to ram connection. Also, the improved piston to ram connection allows
for greater booster loads to be transferred to the shearing rams. Our
Maximum Shear Boosters can be adapted to existing large bore bonnets
without modifications.
